Julia is a Patent Agent whose practice centers on pharmaceutical patent preparation and prosecution, leveraging expertise in organic and biological chemistry to advance clients’ IP objectives. Julia advises life sciences companies on intellectual property strategy and portfolio development, drawing on her extensive experience in biochemical research and advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology space.
Previous Work
Prior to joining the firm, Julia performed her doctoral research at Tufts University, where she worked with small molecules and proteins, harnessing the unique properties of fluorocarbons to create novel biomaterials. She is also an inventor, holding a patent related to hydrophobic silk fibroin construction, and is a member of the American Chemical Society.
