Women’s IP Forum 2026

Janine will serve as a featured panelist in two sessions at IPWatchdog’s Third Annual Women’s IP Forum. 

In “What Patents Are Really Worth: The Economics of Patent Licensing,” panelists will explore how sophisticated licensors, licensees, counsel, and valuation professionals assess patent value in real-world transactions and disputes, including royalty structures, comparable licenses, portfolio strength, litigation and validity risk, damages principles, SEP licensing, FRAND obligations, and other practical factors that drive dealmaking. 

Janine will also participate in “The Art of Patent Litigation: Skills, Strategy, and Storytelling that Win Patent Cases,” a discussion on the craft behind effective patent litigation, including case framing, witness preparation, expert strategy, advocacy, courtroom judgment, and the strategic decisions that shape outcomes long before trial. 

The Women’s IP Forum, taking place September 23-25, 2026, brings together leading women from across the intellectual property profession for networking, mentorship, and substantive discussions on current IP issues. Featuring an all-women faculty with diverse experience and perspectives, the program highlights both rising stars and accomplished “Masters-level” practitioners who have reached the highest levels of the field. Sessions are designed around the speakers’ expertise to provide timely, practical insights for the IP community.
