Year in Review: Export Controls

This year-in-review will detail changes to US export controls. Significant developments related to Canada, Syria, China, and Cambodia will be discussed. Updates in the Affiliates Rule; DOJ Disclosures; OICTS: and USML and defense services will be addressed. The session will aid compliance personnel updating policies and procedures to reflect current US export controls.

Maya’s presentation will focus on the connected vehicles (CV) rule targeting CV hardware and software with ties to China and Russia, and the latest developments surrounding the proposed UAS rule—including its withdrawal from interagency review.
